Our story

Inspired by the storyteller who connects worlds.

Kweku Ananse represents wisdom, creativity, resilience and interconnectedness. Just as Ananse carried stories across generations, Anansekrom seeks to connect people across continents through shared heritage.

The village brings together experiential tourism, education, cultural exchange, food, nature and community development. Visitors are invited to participate with humility—learning from people and place rather than treating culture as display.

Vision

A nationally significant living heritage destination.

Anansekrom’s long-term vision is to become a leading African heritage destination where people reconnect with their roots through cultural experience, education, research and community engagement.

Mission

Preserve, celebrate and bring heritage to life.

The mission is to create immersive experiences that inspire learning, identity, wellbeing and sustainable community development for local and international visitors.
